Restrooms are just inside the Children’s Discovery Garden, as well as along the route.
Water will be available at about Mile 1.3, before entering the garden. Water will also be available after the run, as well as a few drinking fountains along the way. Please familiarize yourself with the location of these drinking fountains and drink plenty of water. It will be a warm day! You are also welcome to pack water. Please do not throw cups inside the garden. We will begin at 8 a.m. Please take the time you need to enjoy this beautiful run/walk. We’d like you to be aware that the gardens open to the public at 10. We’d like to offer our sincere thanks to our gracious host, Thanksgiving Point. Please be gentle and respectful of the beautiful garden landscape. We’d also like to remind you that this is not a triathlon, so please refrain from dipping into the waterfall or the streams! We have a professional photographer this year who will be taking pictures as you cross the finish line and will make them available on his website for purchase. Here are the instructions:
1. Go to the website yourlifeimages.com We are excited about the proceeds this race has created. Through Women’s Services at Utah Valley Regional Medical center, funds will now go to “Angel Watch,” a program designed to provide emotional and social support to mothers and families who may be facing a potentially life-limiting diagnosis for their unborn or newly born infant. The Women’s Advisory Council has offered many hours of service in putting this race together. Many thanks to all of those who have helped. We’d like to thank our generous sponsors and donors:
I have heard wonderful stories from many of you who have overcome incredible difficulties in your lives. Please continue to share them, if you’d like, through pam@runningwithangels.com. We’d also like to thank Pam Staich for bringing her doves to the starting line. We honor the memory of your loved ones as we release them. We realize many of you will be running in honor of those angels in your lives. We hope you have a heavenly run! |
