2nd annual Running with Angels 5K Saturday, June 24th, 2006 New this year—a Kid’s Fun Run New Location - Thanksgiving Point 2006 Race Results T-shirt, wristbands, pedometer, cash prizes, giveaways, food and drinks at finish, and great scenery! Because of the popularity of this race last year, we are moving to Thanksgiving Point, and adding a short (approximate half mile) run for children. This will be a beautiful run! Proceeds for this race will once again benefit Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, Women’s Services. Come meet our current Miss Utah 2005, Julia Bachison, who will be our emcee at the event. Julia's platform is fitness for the future, including the prevention of childhood obesity. She recently won the swimsuit/fitness category at the Miss America pageant. Packet Pickup: Runner’s Corner, Friday, June 23rd, from 4-8 o’clock. We will also have packet pickup the morning of the race, at Thanksgiving Point, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Date: Saturday, June 24th, 2006. 5K: 8:00 a.m. Kids' Fun Run approximately 9:15 am Parking is available at Electric Park at Thanksgiving Point Registration Early registration assures correct T-shirt size.
